Limited Warranty
Tigerstriper machines are built from components with different warranty sources, so here's exactly what's covered and by whom.
Engine Warranty — Covered by the Manufacturer
Your machine's engine (Honda GX-series or Kohler Command PRO) is covered by that manufacturer's own warranty, honored through their authorized dealer network nationwide.
What this means for you: if your engine has a defect, you can take your machine to any authorized Honda or Kohler dealer.
What you'll need: proof of original purchase date. We provide the original engine documentation with every machine — keep this with your records.
Commercial use terms: because Tigerstriper machines are commercial equipment, engine warranty terms follow the manufacturer's commercial/rental duty-cycle coverage period, which may differ from the residential/consumer coverage period advertised for the same engine.
What voids engine warranty: damage from improper installation, modification, fuel other than what's specified, or lack of basic maintenance (oil changes, air filter service) is generally excluded.
Machine Parts Warranty — Covered by Tigerstriper
Everything outside the engine itself — frame, tank, pump, hoses, drive components, wiring, and the quality of assembly — is covered directly by Tigerstriper under a parts warranty.
Coverage period: 1 year
What's covered: defects in materials or workmanship under normal commercial use.
What's not covered: normal wear items (hoses, seals, filters, tires, rubber pieces), damage from misuse or improper maintenance, or damage from modifications not performed or approved by Tigerstriper.
How the warranty actually works
Tigerstriper doesn't have brick-and-mortar service centers scattered across the country — but here's what we do instead, and why it's often faster than a traditional dealer network:
Contact us with the issue. Most equipment issues on a machine this size come down to a handful of common failure points, and we know ours well. Use the contact form on the contact us page, or email customerservice@tigerstriper.com
We ship the replacement part directly to you. No waiting on a dealer's parts counter or a manufacturer's overseas backlog — we stock common wear and failure parts domestically specifically so you're not down for weeks.
You install it yourself, or take it to any local small-engine or equipment repair shop. Most of our covered repairs are straightforward enough for a competent local mechanic — you're not limited to a specific "authorized" dealer the way you might be with other equipment brands.
How to file a claim: contact us directly with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable. We'll walk you through next steps, whether that's a part replacement, repair guidance, or labor reimbursement.
